Woodley Park Community Issues: Debonair ResidencesThe owners of Debonair Cleaners at 2608-2612 Connecticut Avenue propose to build a five-story residential addition to their building, which now houses the cleaners and a restaurant. The facade of the building will not be changed (though it will be restored), and the addition will replace the parking lot behind the building.Architectural drawings of the proposal can be found here (warning: large file!). While these drawings are not final (and have already been changed several times), they provide a general idea of what's being planned. Because this property is in the Woodley Park Historic District, the addition must be approved by the DC Historic Preservation Review Board.
